For our whole recorded history, at least 80% of all our efforts and struggles have been dissipated by disunity. Fear instead of love. A world where everyone seems like absolute others. Where our existence has always been defined by struggle, lack, limitation and scarcity.
I heard a wise man say that Babylon was not as much a place as a “parasitic system of control.” Over the eons of time, this system of control has changed its names dozens of times; tribes, nation states, countries, empires, socialism, communism, capitalism or our current system of corporatocracy. Through all this time, the parasitic nature of dis-unity has always played to our darkest nature.
What would “Unity Consciousness” actually look like? All of us realizing that we are each one an utterly unique yet similar expression of a singular global mind. No one greater. No one less. Everyone contributing his or her talents and wisdom to making the world a better place. Every person receiving a living wage. Bonuses for working harder, innovation and wisdom.
Naturally this will lead to universal healthcare, education and childcare; paid for by everyone simply paying their fair share of our tax burden: Steadily enhancing infrastructure: The military industrial complex scaled down to only having an equal share of our tax revenue as healthcare, education and infrastructure.
Parasitic things that will quickly go obsolete: Debt, interest rates, money in politics, lobbyists, electoral college, billionaires, poverty, homelessness, perks for politicians, big oil, big pharma and built-in obsolescence in manufacturing
The legal system will be completely overhauled to end plea bargaining, legal precedence, technicalities, trial lawyers as we currently know them and “getting off” when one commits a crime. Offenders will have to make complete restitution and face realistic consequences. Ethical behavior will be strongly enforced in all situations, with no exceptions.
Wonderful aspects of unity consciousness: Schooling will be task oriented. Teachers will be highly paid and sought after. Everything will be built better and last longer. In a more egalitarian society, everyone will have the opportunity to be upwardly mobile. Everyone will have more time for recreation. Without predation, energy will soon become free and abundant
Now we are at an historical turning point. We need to ask ourselves the most profound question of our whole history: Beyond the polarities of Republican or Democrat: Do we have the courage to move beyond this polarizing fear-based society? Can we imagine and manifest society based simply on unity, where we realize that we are all cells in a singular global mind? Where everyone loves and supports each other? Bees instinctively do it. So do ants. Have we woken up enough to where we have the heart to do it?
